01

How Many students are Recruited?

We don't have a set quota on how many students we recruit every cycle. If you're a fit for DEM, don't worry about the numbers!

02

Do I have to be Pre-meD?

No! DEM is open to all pre-health tracks. We have members majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, Kinesiology, Anthropolgy, and Business. The diverse interests of our members is something we use to our advantage to give everyone new perspectives within the healthcare field.

03

Minimum Gpa?

Our minimum GPA requirement is 2.5, but note that DEM takes pride in our Chapter average being higher than a 3.5.

04

What will the Prospective Member process be like?

Prospective members (PMs) will meet bi-weekly with the Director of Prospects (DOPs) to learn about fraternity history and other information that will be tested during crossover. These meetings will also be an opportunity to engage and bond with your class. PMs will also be able to  engage with actives during some social events to get to know the rest of the fraternity. PMs may be asked to plan an event for their class to bond and an event for the entire fraternity to participate in. Keep in mind this is only an overview!

05

How are we Dealing with COVId-19?

In accordance with University guidelines, masks are required for all in-person recruitment events. Both informational sessions are held virtually.

06

Are there community service opportunities?

Yes! DEM offers multiple community service opportunities for our members to participate in. Check out the "Our Involvements" page to learn more!

07

What is the time Commitment?

We have Chapter meetings every other week and consistently offer activities ranging from community service, socials, fundraising events, and educational workshops. Although our active status commitments are not difficult to achieve, you will get out what you put in!
